Archaeological Services Inc. is a team of dedicated, diverse and talented
professionals working to provide the highest quality consulting services in cultural
heritage conservation, planning and management. We believe that we can, within a
profitable business environment, contribute to an understanding of the past and to the
quality of our living and learning environments. We do so through the provision of
exceptional services that achieve or exceed the highest standards in conservation ethics,
principles and practice.
We are headed by a Board of Directors, consisting of
the five partners within the business. The firm is further divided into four
logistic units or geographic divisions in order to ensure smooth and efficient
management of each of our projects. These divisions are Environmental Assessments
throughout the province; Planning Act applications that fall within the Greater
Toronto Area along with Special Projects of a variety of types, including Master
Plans and Built Heritage and Cultural Landscape studies; Planning Act applications
within the balance of the province; and Central Services and Support.
Each division is headed by an Area Manager, who establishes priorities for scheduling of projects,
as well as selecting the techniques employed to ensure that these projects
are completed within the budget available, and that all work meets or exceeds
current technical guidelines.
